Recording artist, singer-songwriter and composer, Lakshmi Marfíl Delgado (birth name Jennifer Delgado) has spent many years working, singing and recording in the Latin Music Industry. She has toured the world with Salsa/Reggae/Rap group Dark Latin Groove (DLG) and was a signed Recording Artist with Columbia Records (“What is it (About You)” in English and “Que Tu tienes” in Spanish on the album Latin Mix USA 2, which includes artists Will Smith, Marc Anthony, Shakira, Chayanne and Jennifer Lopez. More recently Lakshmi Marfíl was a featured guest artist on World renowned percussionist Richie Flores’ Album, and  she debuted her original composition “Latin Lover” at The Heineken Jazz Festival in Puerto Rico 2012 and at the Dominican Jazz Festival in Nov. 2013. She has recorded a Latin Album  with Yambawa (Anthony Carrillo) and a South African album with Harmony Mbira (Kevin Nathaniel) and during the last few years has begun songwriting, composing and producing her own songs again.

Her love of Music and Yoga has been her life’s passion. This passion has blessed her with traveling the world and performing with various orchestras, even fulfilling her dream of performing at Madison Square Garden. In addition from 2012-2019, Lakshmi Marfíl had another dream fulfilled singing for AMMA the “hugging saint” from India at the Jacob Javitz Convention Center in NYC, where she performed her original compositions from her Mantra album, “Shakti Prema-The Path of Love”. She has performed for her 6 times over the years.

As well, She leads Sound Baths, which work with ancient sounds as a healing modality. These Sound Baths allow the listener to move into more relaxed and higher states of consciousness. She is also certified in Naam Yoga (the Yoga of Sound) and regularly uses sound healing and breath work as part of her Vinyasa Flow Yoga classes.

Some of the venues Lakshmi Marfil has performed: Madison Square Garden, Coliseo Callao (Peru), Festival Quisquena (Cuzco, Peru), Feria de Cali (Colombia), Costa Rica, Heineken Jazz Festival (San Juan, Puerto Rico), Dominican Jazz Festival (Dominican Republic), Caracol (Barcelona, Spain), Sony Music studios (Madrid, Spain) and various other venues throughout the world and USA. She has been a featured Artist with Dark latin Groove (DLG), Richie Flores Septet and Yambawa on WBAI Radio.

Sina, NY), Abhaya Yoga (Brooklyn),Therapy of the  Soul Retreats with Arnie Vargas (Cape May, NJ), Sacred Chanting at Unity of New York, Power of Music Concert series, NYC.
